Web-to-lead capture

Enquiries from your website should not wait for someone to copy them in. Point them at your workspace and they become leads on their own.

  • Every workspace has a capture link, shown in Settings under Web-to-lead capture. Use it three ways: share the hosted form, embed the form on your site with the iframe snippet, or POST JSON to the endpoint from a form you built yourself.
  • Fields are simple: email (required), name, company, phone and message. A new enquiry becomes a lead with source Website, assigned to the workspace owner, with a notification and a Slack or Teams message if you have chat connected.
  • If the sender is already a contact or lead, the enquiry is logged as a note on their record instead of creating a duplicate.
  • Booked demos work the same way: point a cal.com "Booking created" webhook at the booking URL in the same Settings card, and meetings land on the right record, with unknown attendees created as leads with source Booking.
  • A hidden honeypot field drops naive spam bots quietly. If real spam gets through, or the link leaks, rotate it in Settings; the old form, embed and endpoint stop working immediately.
  • Source shows up in reporting, so you can see how website and booking leads convert next to every other channel.
